Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of coferbookkeeping.com (the “Site”), operated by Cofer Bookkeeping Services LLC (“Cofer Bookkeeping,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
About Our Services
Cofer Bookkeeping provides bookkeeping and financial advisory services. We are not a certified public accounting (CPA) firm, and we do not provide legal, audit or attestation services. Where our packages include tax returns, those returns are prepared and signed by an independent partner CPA firm under its own engagement terms.
No Professional Advice on the Site
Articles, examples and other content on the Site are for general information only. They are not accounting, tax, legal or investment advice for your situation. Do not act on Site content without advice from a qualified professional who knows your facts.
No Client Relationship Until an Engagement Is Signed
Using the Site, submitting a form, booking a call or receiving a diagnostic review does not make you our client. A client relationship begins only when you and Cofer Bookkeeping sign a written proposal or engagement agreement. That agreement, not these Terms, governs the services we provide to you.
Free Diagnostic Review
Our free diagnostic review is offered with no obligation. We may decline to perform a review or to accept an engagement at our discretion. Findings in a diagnostic report are based on the records and access you provide at the time, and they may change once full records are available.
Pricing
Prices shown on the Site are “starting at” prices for general information. Your actual fees are set in a written quote based on your diagnostic review and the scope of work you approve. We may change published prices at any time without notice.
Communications
By submitting your contact information and checking the consent box, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email and text message about your inquiry and our services, as described in our Privacy Policy. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site to break any law, submit false or misleading information, interfere with the Site’s operation or security, attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, or copy or scrape Site content for commercial use.

Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to or use third-party services, such as Calendly, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cofer Bookkeeping and its owners, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or its content. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). This section does not limit any terms of a signed engagement agreement.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cofer Bookkeeping and its owners, employees and contractors from any claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
Governing Law

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
